I'm not clumsy I swear!

Hi Lovelies!

So I am in love with this nail combo: Sephora by O.P.I. Traffic Stopper Copper and Revlon Copper Penny.

I absolutely love these two nail polishes, but sadly there was an incident were Traffic Stopper Copper was involved...

I was taking pictures of my 3 glitter nail polishes, when all of the sudden this one decides to take a dive onto the kitchen floor...kinda. The background I use to take my pictures was not very stable and it started slipping, I was only able to save 2 out of the 3 nail polishes.
After a loud gasp and some curse words that I won't write here, I saw the mess on the kitchen floor and some on the carpet; luckily I was able to get it out the carpet with no stains.

Next stop Sephora to get a new one :p

Golden Goodness for Me

This is the first time I've worn gold nail polish (besides O.P.I.'s Only Gold for Me top coat). When I did a quick trip to CVS today, I saw that there was a BOGO 1/2 off Revlon nail polish, so without hesitating I grabbed Golden and Copper Penny.
Now that I think about it, I might pick up Traffic Stopper Copper by O.P.I. to do a copper version of this using Copper Penny.

Have a fabulous day!

More goodies!

Hi there!

I went to visit my local CCO on Sunday and brought me home some goodies!
When I walked in I immediately headed to the MAC section, but not without getting sidetracked by a Bobbi Brown product that I will mention at the end.
Anyway, I looked at paint pots and  the one that caught my attention was Let Me Pop, which was limited edition for the Cham-Pale collection last year.

Really don't know how to describe this shade, it's kinda light copper-ish with micro-shimmers (they seem like copper, silver a hint of gold)

Next up is my very first Clinique product, an eyeshadow duo "Posh Squash"

This duo has a peach and brown shade that complement each other so nicely.

Lastly, the product I was the most giddy about, and is my also very first Bobbi Brown product:
Behold! Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact "Copper Diamond"

It's a combination of shades that give an absolute beautiful glow. Of all the strips in the compact only the 4th one down looks the most coppery, the rest have more of a champagne-beige-bronze.
I can't seem to stop using it since I got it.

Have a fabulous day!

Pretty Pretty Paint Pots and Pigments

MAC Paint Pots and Pigments are pretty new to me, before when I went to a MAC store I would usually just swatch a few and that's it, I would immediately turn to pressed powder eyeshadows.

At first I hesitated committing into buying a full jar of pigment just because I thought that they would be such a mess to use and my somewhat clumsy self was afraid of dropping one and spilling all over.

But every time I would swatch pigments, specially Naked and Melon, it always left with me wanting to purchase them on the spot. But it took some time and lots and lots of thinking until I finally got them both and I am so glad I did.
Naked is a gorgeous nude with a subtle shimmer, I've used it as a lid color and highlight on my cheekbones.
Melon is peachy golden goodness in a jar, I absolutely love this pigment.
Next up is Paint pots
The first one I purchased was Rubenesque, a beautiful golden peach.

Nubile is the newest one I got when it came out with MAC's Posh Paradise collection. Before Nubile was released I was thinking of getting Painterly, which is a beige-nude, but as soon as I read the description of Nubile (peachy nude) I immediately was looking forward to get it.
Sure enough, I went to MAC, swatched it and loved it.

So now that I've gotten a chance to use pigments and paint pots, I am looking forward to getting another one on my list: Indianwood Paint Pot and maybe Pink Bronze Pigment.
One that I really really really want to see again is Coral Crepe, I keep hoping one day either I find it at a CCO or see it re-promoted.
My collection of pigments and paint pots is growing more and more along with my love for them.

Favorites/Most used for August and September

Hi girlies!

I'm happy to share with you for the first time my favorites/most used products in August and September :)

First my favorite foundation not only for the month of September, but pretty much ever since I got it in January is NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. My shade is Barcelona and I love the coverage, it feels light and makes my skin look and feel good.

Also from  NARS is the Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, which has become my HG eyeshadow base, it's light, it has no tint and best of all it doesn't crease, which is fabulous for my forever creasing eyelids.

My face powder of choice these past couple of months is MAC's Mineralize SkinFinish Natural (Medium Plus) It's light and it looks very natural

Most used highlighter is MAC MSF Soft and Gentle

Most used blushes! All from MAC
Bottom left: Peaches/Top: Style/Bottom Right: Improvise Mineralize Blush

I wore each on their own and combined them as well, the combinations I used the most were Peaches w/ Improvise (very lightly on top) or Peaches w/Style on top.

Moving on to most used eyeshadows:
From the Urban Decay Vegan Palette I used the most Twice Baked, Smog and Half Baked, I absolutely love these 3 shades.

This next eyeshadow quad is the reason why I started loving bronze shades, it's L'oreal Bronzes quad.
I specially use the shades on the right marked with numbers 1 and 4, specially the top right one (#1) it's a gorgeous bronzed champagne.

Another eyeshadow set that I have used almost every other day is Physician's Formula Baked Eyeshadow Trio "Baked Sands"

I love it so much I got a backup right away after I dropped my first one and one of the domes broke off :( (right) you can also see I've used it so much they're not quite domes no more.
Last eyeshadow set I've been using a lot August and September is Avon's  8-in-1 palette in Neutral Tones. I've used the 3rd and 4th shade from the left the most.

I've been enjoying using L'oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense eyeliner, specially to do a winged look.
For lips, I really didn't use lipsticks or lip-glosses, felt kinda lazy really, so I've been using EOS lip-balm thingy, I got the yellow one first which I don't remember the name, but I didn't like the smell so much, the Summer Fruit one, on the other hand I love how it smells and makes my lips feel nice and soft.

Lastly, my favorite hand/body lotion is CVS brand Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer, at first I got the travel size to try it out, and I like it so much I got the full size one.

I like this one a lot better than the Vaseline version, which the CVS brand is comparable to, they both leave my skin feeling soft, but the smell is a bit different, the CVS one smells more like coconut, and the Vaseline one seems to have an added fragrance, which I can't quite describe it, didn't like it that much.

Whoa that was a lot of products!
Hope you all have a wonderful week! I'm currently trying to fight a cold so I'm having some home made soup :)

Just Another Instagram Post

Hi!

I mentioned in a previous post that I've been getting a bit addicted to the Instagram app on my phone, so here's another wave of "creations"

I'll start with this cutie, his name is Rocky and he's a rescue. He found a wonderful home where he is showered with so much love and affection.
Look at the difference on the left he's scruffy, dirty and stinky; on the right about a month later happy and running around like a madman.

Next puppy is my sister's new addition to her family, her name is cookie (at least that's what my nephews call her) She's trying to play with my shoes in that pic, ah I love those shoes but they're a pain in the butt! I wore those shoes to a wedding I attended and as great as I felt in those shoes I'm not embarrassed to admit that I fell on my butt trying to cross the street (dumb pavement was cracked and broken) Thankfully I was told I fell gracefully...phew! At least there was barely any people around at the time but my brother, his wife and my sister and her husband...oh well.

Moving on to footwear that doesn't hurt, I love these sandals!

Oh yeah, that day of the wedding I went to go get my hair cut and straightened, didn't realize how long it is when it's straight. I also loved how my hair looked, but why oh why did it had to be so hot that day. It didn't stay like that for long, had to eventually put it up on a ponytail.

Lastly, this little accessory my lovely co-worker made for me :)
Adding some more bracelets, the pink one on the left is from walmart and the two middle ones from Forever21

Hope you all are having a wonderful day!
