Oh Luster...

Every single time I'd go to Sephora I would always stay the longest at the NARS section, but I never paid too much attention to the blushes since I thought to myself "Do I really need another blush?"...well I answered that question with an "Oh yeah!" as soon as I swatched Luster for the first time.
The packaging is lovely, but since it can get a bit dirty easily, I always use the box it came in to carry around in my makeup bag.
I absolutely adore this blush, and combined with another NARS favorite, Albatross (which I heard about this combo from the lovely Estee from Essie Button), it is the most beautiful combination ever.
Luster is described as a sheer golden apricot, yup that sounds about right!
The images and swatch below don't give justice on how pretty this blush is.

I just wanted to share one of my latest obsessions with you.

Night at the Amphitheater

Hi!
Linkin Park and Incubus are 2 of my favorite bands and when I found out that they were touring together and playing here in San Diego, I was ecstatic!
This is my second time seeing Linkin Park in concert, the first time during Projekt Revolution in 2007, that being my first concert with my husband.
The concert started at 6:30 with the opening act Mutemath, then followed Incubus at 7:20 and they played for almost 2 hours.

Linkin Park performed right after, also playing for almost 2 hours

I had an amazing time with my husband at our date night/concert.

Will be back with makeup posts soon! :)

Barely any difference

Hi!
I finally got the new Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadows, I found them at a CVS somewhat far from the usual CVS I go to (the one closest to me sucks by the way).
Anyway, I picked up Rich Mahogany, Gold Shimmer and Barely Beige which is the one featured on this post.
When I first opened it, the first thing that I thought was "This looks just like MAC's Bare Study Paint Pot!" and sure enough compared side by side they look very much alike.

Bottom Left: Bare Study / Upper Right: Barely Beige
Bottom: Bare Study / Top: Barely Beige
I noticed that Maybelline's Barely Beige is a bit pinkier, just very slightly, while Bare Study is more beige.

I'm very pleased with Barely beige so far, I might do a review once I use it enough.

Inglot Collection Pt 2

Hey lovelies!
Here's the second part of my Inglot eyeshadow collection:
Bottom Left (Pearl 451) / Top Right (Pearl 428)
Left (Pearl 451) / Right (Pearl 428)
Bottom Left (Pearl 418) / Top Right (Pearl 446)
Left (Pearl 418) / Right (Pearl 446)  These two shades featured here
Bottom Left (AMC Shine 15) / Top Right (Pearl 407)
Left (AMC Shine 15) / Right (Pearl 407)

I absolutely adore Inglot eyeshadows, their texture is buttery smooth, with great color payoff at an amazing price.
I do wish that they add more shades, specially in the Pearl finish, which is my favorite.

There you go ladies, thanks for letting me share my growing addiction to Inglot eyeshadows.

My Inglot Collection Pt 1

Hey there!

I was so excited when I found out last October that an Inglot counter opened up inside a Macy's fairly close to me, and ever since I've been loving Inglot eyeshadows.
I choose to keep my eyeshadows in the duo palettes, but I do have a 3 pan palette shown below:

Bottom Left (Pearl 422)/Middle (Pearl 606)/ Top Right (AMC Shine 43)

From left to right: Pearl 422/ Pearl 606/ AMC Shine 43

Next up the duos:
Bottom Left (Pearl 405) / Top Right (Pearl 406)
Left (Pearl 405) / Right (Pearl 406)

Bottom Left (Pearl 421) / Top Right (Pearl 409)

Left (Pearl 421) / Right (Pearl 409)

Bottom Left (Pearl 423) / Top Right (Pearl 402)
Left (Pearl 423) / Right (Pearl 402)
Bottom Left (AMC Shine 31) / Top Right (AMC Shine 11)

Left (AMC Shine 31) / Right (AMC Shine 11)
The texture of the eyeshadows is amazing and the color payoff is unbelievable! And the best part, they're inexpensive.

Check out the second part of my Inglot stash here!

I Found a Substitute

Hi there!
I found substitutes for a couple of my favorite MAC eyeshadows, Humid and Nocturnelle.
Inglot Pearl 446 replaced Nocturnelle, even though they're not identical, they're pretty darn close.
Close enough for me to completely forget about repurchasing Nocturnelle.

Left to Right: Inglot 446 / MAC Nocturnelle
Now on to Humid's replacement, Inglot Pearl 418
Comparison:
Left to Right: Inglot Pearl 418 / MAC Humid
Again, they're not identical, but they're close enough for me to replace.

The reason why I replaced Humid and Nocturnelle is because after having them for a few years, I noticed my eyes got itchy when I used them, specially on my lower lash line.

By the way, I will soon do a post on all eyeshadows I have purchased from Inglot.

A little quickie...

Hi!

Just wanted to stop by quick to show some goodies that I've picked up from ULTA, Target and WalMart the past month or so.
I've been wearing that watch like crazy. The bottle is a liquid highlighter that I picked up after the lovely Danielle mentioned it in one of her videos.
Oh and check out this stunning Sonia Kashuk bronzer
Sonia Kashuk Beautifying blush "Sunset"
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain "Lovesick"

Coming soon I will post some Sonia Kashuk, NARS and Inglot collections too :)

Pink Saphire or better yet...3DS Pink!

Hi there!

I'm going to do an updated post on more L'oreal Infallible eyeshadows that I've picked up lately, but first I want to show this oh so pretty shade.
This shade, along with Gleaming Bronze (which I will show in a later post), I saw on a separate display, as part of their Summer Collection.
As soon as I saw it, I knew it reminded me of something, but didn't confirm it until I got home.
This shade is a metallic rose with a bit of a frost; it's very unique and I have nothing similar in my makeup stash. I have to admit I usually stay away from pink eyeshadows, but this one for some reason was telling me "oh I'm so pretty take me with you!"...yup that was weird.
Anyway, I bought it and I just couldn't stop admiring how beautiful the shade is, unfortunately I'm afraid it's not going to be used very much since I can't seem to make it work for me so far.

What I am amazed by is that it's almost the exact color as my Nintendo 3DS

Oh well, I'll keep trying to use with different bases, most likely a few paint pots to see if I have success.
Hey if all else fails, I'll just have it as eye candy in my makeup stash.

Sweet Frutti Apple

Hey there!

After purchasing my very first Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti, I was so impressed that I picked up a couple more shades, Sweet Tart and Candy Apple.

Candy Apple:

So far these three are the only ones I have, but who knows, I might check out some other shades.
Not anytime soon though, I kinda went crazy the past month so I'm on a makeup no-buy for now, I'll share what I got on next posts.

Have a great night!
