Check out My Stash

My Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash that is...I picked up this set last month at Sephora for $19.00.
Left to Right: Sin / Juju / Rehab / Delinquent / Clash

I tried them on my forever creasing lids and they hold up pretty good. Usually it takes seconds before my lids crease after applying a product (with no primer), but the UD 24/7 Shadow Liners last a while with no signs of creasing :)
Here's a closer look at each shadow pencil:
 Sin
Juju
Rehab
Delinquent
Clash

I mainly got the set because I wanted Juju, Rehab, Sin and Delinquent; Clash really didn't get my attention and I haven't used it at all.
Delinquent is a gorgeous purple, but my problem with it is the bright purple shimmer...don't like it at all. I like to use Delinquent it on my lower lash-line/waterline and I use a purple eyeshadow on top to hide the shimmers (I use Inglot Eyeshadow Pearl 446).
Left to Right: Clash / Delinquent / Rehab / Juju / Sin

I'm definitely getting more of the UD 24/7 Shadow Pencils, I already have my eye on Lit.

Have a great day!

Celebrating another year!

Hi!

Last week was my birthday and got showered with lots of goodies that I want to share if you don't mind :)
I spent part of my bday having lunch and shopping with my mom, my niece and my husband.
Later on in the afternoon me and my husband continued with his bday gift which was a little shopping spree *squee*.

So besides getting a couple of outfits, I went to Forever 21 to also get new additions to my accessories

Makeup time!
I stopped by a Sephora counter in JC Penney, which it does not look like a counter, it's like almost a full size store!...well not really, but it's pretty big!
I only got the free beauty insider gift
Onto MAC goodies I got 2 eyeshadows and 1 paint pot

I got Patina and All that Glitters

And Rubenesque paint pot, which I've had my eye on for a while

So pretty!

The birthday celebrations continued on Sunday since Saturday I attended my cousin's wedding, which i'll probably share my "adventure" in another post. But on Sunday we got cake (shown on very first pic) German Chocolate cake *drool* and a small cheesecake! And I got flowers too :)

Happy Monday!

Give me Gold!

Hi!
First of all, I hope all of you are having a lovely weekend, mine ended up being a bit different than I expected.
A little trip we had planned for Friday got cancelled, but on Saturday at one of our Fanboygaming.com events I stopped by Sephora where I ended up buying a couple of things, with some goodies on the side. (let me tell you that the Microsoft Store is dangerously close to Sephora and MAC, well dangerously close for my wallet lol)
First, Urban Decay's Freelove e/s

I also picked up a couple of samples of Illamasqua pigments: Ore and Furore
At checkout I had enough points for 2 samples, NARS Pro-Prime Pore Refining Primer and Sephora Ultra Smoothing Primer.

The Sales Associate also gave me a Yu-Be Skin Cream sample.

But my favorite buy was Sephora by O.P.I. top coat "Only Gold for Me"

So much glittery goodness!
(1 coat)
One more with some touch-ups

I can't stop staring at my nails, love it!

Some goodies

Hello Hello!
I finally got me a NARS Sheer Glow foundation!. After getting a sample, i fell in love with it. I've been using it on and off since i got it in January and I love how it looks. When I got the sample i got matched with Barcelona and its indeed a perfect match to my skin color.
Went to my local Sephora and besides the NARS Sheer Glow I picked up another Illamasqua blush in Lover which is a vibrant apricot, i absolutely love this color!
I've been loving Illamasqua products alot, I'll do a separate post of my Illamasqua collection/Review soon.
Next up I went to MAC and got my very first pigment in Naked. At first i was torn between Vanilla pigment and Naked, but after swatching it, i immediately went for Naked pigment. I've been using it as a highlight on my brow bone, inner corners of the eyes and even on my cheekbones, it's a gorgeous color.

And lastly I got my first MAC red lipstick in Ruby Woo after a friend recommended it to me, I don't usually wear red lipstick, but I'm really loving this color.
All these products I got as a late New Years gift from the hubby :)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Illamasqua Cream Blusher

Hi There!

I got my very first Illamasqua product, and I love it! It's the Cream Blusher in Rude which is a warm Coral Pink with a dewy finish.

Besides being my very first Illamasqua product, it's also my first cream blush. I've been using it almost every day and more and more I'm very happy with it.

I like the packaging, It's clean, simple, very classy and the shape is very unique to any blush I have.

Here are some swatches of the blush:
On the left is blended out a bit.
The Cream Blush is very versatile, you can build it up to the intensity you like. Sometimes i use my finger to dab it on my cheeks when I want sheer color, and sometimes I use a duo-fiber brush for a more airbrushed  finish but with more color.
I got this blush for $24.00 at my local Sephora.

Have you tried Illamasqua Blushes or Cream Blushers, and how did you like them?
Feel free to leave your comments :)
