Siren & Sunsets

Hello!

I purchased a couple of new nail polishes, one of them is Revlon Siren, which after buying Siren lipstick, I was so intrigued by the nail polish, so I finally got it!

 Siren is a gorgeous and bright coral, I have nothing like this color in my collection and it's perfect for spring and summer.

I was really in the mood for taking sunset pictures, so I headed to the bay. Here are some random images I took.

Monday was good to me

Hi Lovelies!

So 2 weeks ago I started a very small makeup no-buy (2 weeks to be exact) doesn't seem like much, but it was torture going to walmart or target and not get anything :p
But right before i started my no-buy, I got me the new Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette.

I ordered it Friday 8th, and was supposed to receive it Friday 15th; so the day came and I was waiting for the delivery service to give me my package, but nope, no package for me, I had to wait until Monday 18.
And finally! Monday after having a crappy day at work, hubby picked me up and brought along with him my package that was delivered earlier on the day. Wohoo!

So here it is, 3 neutral shades and a pop of color

 Comes with 4 shades: Woodstock, Verve, Suspect and Darkhorse.

It also included the 24/7 Glide-on Eye pencil in Whiskey, and a Lip Junkie lipgloss  in Crush

So far I'm very happy with my purchase, I've been using Suspect and Darkhorse together a lot, great combo :)

Do any of you ladies have this palette or are thinking of getting it?

Unexpected Makeup Shopping

Hi Lovelies!

Last Thursday my hubby took me for some makeup shopping, which I did not expect at all :p
We went to Kmart and I really didn't expect to get a lot, but I was so surprised of everything that I purchased.

I remember Kmart didn't have great makeup selection, well at least not the one in my area. But lately I've been very happy with what they have. Before Thursday the only place i could find E.L.F cosmetics, besides their website, is Target; so when I noticed the large display i quickly checked it out

 

Here's the stuff I got from E.L.F.:

 

I got 2 brushes, the Eyeshadow C Brush, the Blush Brush and a blush in Peachy Keen.($3.00 each)

Next from Wet n Wild some trios in Silent Treatment, I'm Getting Sunburned, and I Got Good Jeans ($1.99 each)

I also got 2 singles: Penny and Nutty ($1.99 each)

 

Next up are products from Maybelline:

I got 3 quads and 1 single on a BOGO 50% off, the Quads were $5.99 each, single $3.49; but with the BOGO sale I got 2 quads at $5.99 another quad for $3.00 and the single for $1.75

Next up, is the Carbon Black Lineur Intense felt tip applicator, which I've heard good things about and looking forward to use it and compare to the brush applicator one I already have. ($7.99)

And lastly, I got 2 eyeliners from the Clearance bins: Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner in Antiqued Gold, and Almay Blendable Eye Pencil in Navy. I don't remember the original price, but i got the Revlon eyeliner for $2.37 and Almay at $1.79.

I spent total of around $51.00 with tax, which is not bad at all for all that I got. Hubby was impressed of all the stuff I got too hehe.

So after this mini "shopping spree", I bought the UD Rollergirl palette on Friday, and I'm putting myself on a  Makeup No Buy, my goal is a month...let's see how it goes :)

Feeling Peachy with a Tiny Camera

Hi Lovelies!

Here's the makeup look I wore Tuesday:

Using the peach matte shade on my lid, from the Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Greed, and a bit of the brown shade from the Walking on Eggshells trio for the crease

For lips I used Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach and Sunset Peach Colorburst Lipgloss on top.

 

I got the scarf at Walmart for $5.00, love the name "Peach Fuzz", and the camera necklace is from Forever21, which I couldn't decide to get the gold or silver, so i got both! hehe

With Spring already here and the weather getting so nice lately I thought this lip combo is very appropriate for Spring and for the Summer too, this is definitely one of my favorites:

Oh no!

Hi lovelies!

So this happened to me on Sunday:

I was applying my Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and when i was putting the cap back on, I saw this mess!

I was bummed, but luckily it had been a week since I bought it, so yesterday I went back to my local Sephora and got it exchanged for a new one, yay! I also felt sooo tempted to buy a couple of things, but i held it together and walked out just with my new primer :p

Has this ever happened to any of you before?

I don't usually wear red lipstick, and didn't own any until now that I've been expanding my makeup collection, and along with it, my "discovery" of red lipstick.

Some goodies

Hello Hello!
I finally got me a NARS Sheer Glow foundation!. After getting a sample, i fell in love with it. I've been using it on and off since i got it in January and I love how it looks. When I got the sample i got matched with Barcelona and its indeed a perfect match to my skin color.

Went to my local Sephora and besides the NARS Sheer Glow I picked up another Illamasqua blush in Lover which is a vibrant apricot, i absolutely love this color!

 

I've been loving Illamasqua products alot, I'll do a separate post of my Illamasqua collection/Review soon.

 

Next up I went to MAC and got my very first pigment in Naked. At first i was torn between Vanilla pigment and Naked, but after swatching it, i immediately went for Naked pigment. I've been using it as a highlight on my brow bone, inner corners of the eyes and even on my cheekbones, it's a gorgeous color.

 

And lastly I got my first MAC red lipstick in Ruby Woo after a friend recommended it to me, I don't usually wear red lipstick, but I'm really loving this color.

All these products I got as a late New Years gift from the hubby :)

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss mini shopping

Hi there!

I picked up my first Revlon Colorburst lipgloss a few weeks ago in the shade Fire and today while browsing around at Ralphs, I saw another color that I was looking for but couldn't find anywhere else and it's Papaya, I will have reviews on these soon, for now I leave you with some pics and swatches.
Papaya is the one on the lower left and Fire is the upper right
